Self Care (2022) is a daytime horror sci-fi narrative film with experimental elements. The story explores themes of manipulation and control in which we follow a woman who needs the energy of others to fertilize her garden, and with that fertilize her own life.
As the VFX artist, I utilized Maya to create the surreal growth and blooming of vegetation that overcomes the figure’s body.
