Self Care (2022) is a daytime horror sci-fi narrative film with experimental elements. The story explores themes of manipulation and control in which we follow a woman who needs the energy of others to fertilize her garden, and with that fertilize her own life.
As the VFX artist, I utilized Maya to create the surreal growth and blooming of vegetation that overcomes the figure’s body.
The film has been selected for several international film festivals and awards. View the official trailer below.
