Rock Climbing Short

Project Overview:

For this project, I collaborated with Brandy, an avid rock climber, to capture her journey on a challenging route she had been working on. The goal was to highlight her passion and skill development in rock climbing.

Project Narrative:

I crafted a compelling narrative showcasing Brandy’s journey of overcoming this route after previous unsuccessful attempts. This story resonates with every athlete’s experience of perseverance and determination to improve in their sport and personal growth.

Pre-Production:

Developed and storyboarded the entire video.

Secured filming permissions at Movement Harlem.

Prepared a detailed shot list.

Production:

Utilized my Panasonic Lumix GH5 camera for filming.

Employed a key light and reflector for optimal lighting.

Directed Brandy throughout the shoot, adhering closely to the shot list.

Post-Production:

Performed color correction and sound design.

Edited the footage using Adobe Premiere Pro.

Delivered a polished final video.
