I had the opportunity to contribute to the "Breathe" music video by Zeo, where I was responsible for creating and integrating dynamic CGI elements that enhanced the overall visual experience. The project required blending digital art seamlessly with live-action footage to bring the concept to life and add depth to the storytelling.

Chidori CG Birds: I designed and animated a flock of digital birds, inspired by the Japanese term "Chidori," which translates to "a thousand birds". These birds were crafted to interact with the environment, adding a sense of fluidity and motion throughout the video.

Flame Effects: To add intensity and drama to specific scenes, I integrated realistic fire effects. These flames were carefully composed to blend naturally with the live-action shots, amplifying the visual impact and emotional tone of the video.

Offset Clone and Disintegration Effects: I used advanced motion graphics techniques to create disintegration and offset clone effects. These were used to convey the song’s emotional depth and represent the intensity of the video’s narrative.

Color Grading: I applied color grading using DaVinci Resolve to ensure a cohesive, polished look throughout the video. The grading process helped to tie together the various elements of the video, giving it a professional, cinematic appearance.

Adobe After Effects (AE): For compositing and creating the visual effects, I used AE to seamlessly integrate digital elements into the footage.

Cinema 4D: I utilized Cinema 4D to model, animate, and render the 3D elements, including the Chidori birds, which were a central feature of the video.

DaVinci Resolve: For final color grading, I worked in DaVinci Resolve to ensure the video maintained a cohesive visual style and emotional resonance.

The finished video blends creative CGI effects with live-action footage to deliver a visually compelling music video that enhances the song’s mood. It was a pleasure working on this project and helping bring Zeo’s vision to life through these dynamic digital elements.
