The Problem

Care-services websites need to communicate with people who may already be dealing with complex personal circumstances.
The website needed to:
Explain services clearly
Avoid unnecessary technical or clinical language
Support participants
Support families and carers
Present disability and aged-care services
Build trust
Work well on mobile
Make enquiries straightforward
The information architecture needed to make a large service offering feel understandable rather than overwhelming.

The Approach

I designed the website around clear service categories, accessible content, reusable service pages, and simple enquiry pathways.

Audience Mapping

Content was organized for:
Participants
Families
Carers
Referral partners

Accessible Information Architecture

Service categories use plain language and predictable navigation.

Reusable Service Pages

Individual services follow a consistent structure, making the experience easier to learn.

Trust & Enquiry

Relevant calls to action allow visitors to move from information to contact without unnecessary steps.
Service directory helping visitors understand available care and support options.

UX & Development Decisions

Plain-Language Information Architecture

Care information is structured for everyday users rather than internal terminology.

Reusable Service Templates

Different care services can be presented consistently.

Audience-Aware Content

The experience recognizes that participants, families, and referral partners have different concerns.

Mobile-First Accessibility

Visitors researching care services on phones retain full access to essential information.

Contact Pathways Across the Journey

Enquiry actions remain available without interrupting information discovery.
