Context
MOIA, a Volkswagen Group company, develops shared, electric and autonomous mobility solutions. At UITP Summit 2025 in Hamburg, MOIA presented its autonomous mobility system and the Volkswagen autonomous ID. Buzz for the first time.
Task
Together with MOIA’s internal brand team, we developed a key visual to make the complex technology behind the autonomous fleet easy to understand through a simple, flexible visual language.
The Key Visual
Three Layers. One System.
The Key Visual translates the complex technology behind MOIA’s autonomous fleet into a simple, isometric visual language. The vehicle represents the physical layer, while floating software layers and the operating system illustrate the technology working behind it.

Interaction
An interactive web experience was developed to extend the visual system beyond the exhibition. Users can explore the key visual by toggling individual layers and switching between different city and environmental scenarios.
