Overview: Developed Meter Mallows, a playful NFT project where users can customize, breed, and trade unique mallows on the blockchain.
Project Concept:
Customization and Breeding: Users can customize their mallows and breed new generations using blockchain-based DNA.
Marketplace: Integrated a marketplace for users to trade their unique mallows.
Genesis Mallows: Launched with 888 gen 0 mallows available for minting at no cost aside from gas fees.
Blockchain Integration: Implemented blockchain technology to store and retrieve DNA for each Meter Mallow token, using CSS and JavaScript to display NFTs on the website.
Achievements:
Hackathon Success: Awarded 2nd place in the NFT category at the 2022 Meter Ethereum Hackathon.
Project Details:
Website Design: Developed the frontend UI/UX for the NFT DApp, including interfaces for NFT creation, marketplace navigation, and user interaction with blockchain-stored data.
NFT Mallows Creation: Designed and implemented the visual appearance and characteristics of Meter Mallows NFTs, ensuring each mallow's unique traits were visually represented and stored securely on the blockchain.
Frontend Development: Created a responsive and interactive frontend using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to display and manage Meter Mallows.
Development Focus: Built a decentralized application (DApp) for creating, minting, and trading NFTs, harnessing Meter's interoperability with multiple blockchains.
Blockchain Integration: Integrated Meter.io's advanced consensus algorithm Hotstuff to ensure censorship resistance and security while maintaining Ethereum RPC compatibility.
Technical Implementation: Developed smart contracts and frontend interfaces using Solidity for smart contract development and Web3.js for seamless interaction with the Meter.io blockchain.
Scalability and Security: Leveraged Meter.io's scalability advantages to handle increased transaction volumes and ensure secure NFT transactions.
