Known Worth

This project aimed to shed light on sexual harassment, gender roles, and social justice. I took an old blazer from a thrift store, and up-cycled it to be an attractive, feminine, yet still powerful article of clothing for a woman to wear. On the inside, there are many words of sexual harassment that women commonly have yelled at them when walking down the street. The stark contrast between what is shown on the outside and what women must internalize is meant to shed light on this very real issue of men exerting power over women in an unwarranted and dangerous setting.
