Union Star Bank is a Scandinavian financial institution that emerged from the merger of numerous small local banks. Despite its size, it has earned a reputation for maintaining close relationships with its local customers. This exceptional approach has paid off as the bank has managed to retain its customer base with few losses. However, this level of customer care has also meant that the bank's customer base is aging. 

Brand strategy

Our strategy positions Union Star as the private bank of the community. It symbolizes the iconic roots and identity, the united strength and collective power of the bank in connection with its customers. The focus on collective growth and the appreciation of the individual. The presentation of these values and mission to the young target group through a modern design and digital offerings is important.







Logo

The logo consists of five pillars. Each pillar represents the people. The union of the people forms and results in the star. The logo thus represents the association and the closeness to the people and at the same time represents the association and the star.





Visual Identity

The visual system is based on the reimagined iconic star of the company. The logo represents security and solidarity, and is used in many different ways to increase visibility and ensure it is memorized by customers. The color palette and symbols were chosen to radiate trust and calm. At the same time, the appearance retains the important aspect of loyalty. The combination leads to the expression of competence. All this was chosen to give the young group a modern and trustworthy image to arouse their interest.
