UX-Research for a Sustainable Travel App

As part of my UX studies, I conducted UX research for a sustainable travel app designed to help users plan eco-friendly trips, focusing on low-impact transport, sustainable accommodations, and responsible activities. The goal was to create a user-friendly platform that encourages responsible tourism while addressing real user needs.

1️⃣ User Research & Empathy Mapping – Conducted a literature review and a survey to understand travelers’ sustainability concerns and booking habits. 2️⃣ Feature- and Competitive Analysis – Analyzed similar apps to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities. 3️⃣ Problem Definition & Ideation – Created user scenarios, defined key user pain points and brainstormed features to enhance usability. 4️⃣ Prototyping & Usability Testing – Created interactive wireframes and tested them to refine the experience.
