Lens for Good Highlight Reel

Lens for Good reached out for a highlight film that could capture the energy and atmosphere of the event, while holding onto the larger message behind it: storytelling as a way to shape culture, possibility, and the future.

The event brought together speakers, storytellers, and participants around intentional storytelling and creative ambition. The edit needed to carry both sides of that experience, the scale of the room and the personal moments inside it.

As the editor, I shaped the footage into a 1:45 highlight reel with a clear emotional progression. The opening establishes the event’s central idea, then the film moves through keynote moments, participant voices, audience reactions, and the details that gave the day its sense of momentum.

I selected the strongest spoken moments to create a narrative thread, using reactions and atmosphere to connect each beat. The pacing builds from curiosity and reflection into a more uplifting close, allowing the final message to land without losing the liveliness of the event.

Kept the final film concise while preserving an emotional arc from opening to close

Used color grading to give the footage a cohesive finish across the reel

The project was edited in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with DaVinci Resolve used for color grading.
