ULOSLite is an Android application

ULOSLite is an Android application developed to support field supervision activities for field officers and inspectors. The application adopts a Neo-Brutalism design style, characterized by bold contrasts, strong typography, and high visual clarity, making it particularly effective for outdoor use where visibility and usability are essential.

Although initially designed to support the Economic Census, ULOSLite is built with flexibility and long-term sustainability in mind. Its modular and dynamic architecture enables it to be adapted for various future surveys and field data collection activities beyond its original scope.

The application's primary features include field officer route guidance, WhatsApp integration for seamless communication, and AI-powered supervision notes. Supervisors can record voice notes during field inspections, which are automatically transcribed, summarized, and organized by artificial intelligence into concise and well-structured supervision reports.

ULOSLite follows a backend–frontend architecture. The backend is developed using Go (Golang) to provide high performance, scalability, and efficient API services, while the frontend is built with React Native to deliver a cross-platform mobile experience. For geospatial visualization, the application utilizes Leaflet with GeoJSON map data of North Sumatra Province, enabling interactive visualization of field officers' locations and operational areas.

By combining modern mobile technologies, artificial intelligence, and geospatial capabilities, ULOSLite provides a scalable and reusable digital supervision platform that enhances field monitoring efficiency and supports data-driven decision-making for future statistical and survey operations.
