Bayt: #1 job site in the Middle East

Project Description:

This is the #1 job site in the Middle East. It is fully functional in English, Arabic, and French. Built with Next.js ensures lightning-fast loading times, while Material UI enhances mobile responsiveness and delivers stunning graphics with Node.js robust backend and deploys it on AWS.

It offers the fastest, easiest, most effective, and cost-efficient methods for employers to find quality candidates, and for job seekers to find top jobs, in the Middle East and North Africa.

Challenges:

The client wants to create a job site but faces the challenge of handling a large number of user's data with maximum speed.

Results:

I used database optimization and efficient API design. A scalable backend with Redis caching and CDN for fast responses. For the front end, I used Next.js to optimize performance for a seamless user experience.

My Role:

My role as Senior Frontend engineer there was to build and design scalable components utilizing the standard practices and themes and integration of API to handle complex UI flows. Participate in code review and give guide to junior developers.
