Transforming Brand Ideation: An Adobe Firefly Boards Workflow

Project Overview
As an Adobe Firefly Ambassador, I was tasked with stress-testing the new Firefly Boards ecosystem to demonstrate how Generative AI can streamline the fragmented creative process.
The objective was to build a complete brand identity from zero to high-fidelity assets without leaving a single interface. The challenge was to prove that AI tools can handle not just rapid brainstorming, but also the nuanced, high-resolution demands of professional commercial work.
The Process
My workflow moved away from traditional file management into a "living canvas" approach.
1. Centralized Visual Strategy
Instead of toggle-taxing between Pinterest, drives, and local files, I utilized the Infinite Canvas to aggregate textures, architectural references, and color palettes. This allowed for a holistic view of the brand's mood before a single pixel was generated.
2. Generative Iteration & Control
Using the integrated GenAI models, I moved from "Prompt" to "Product" instantly.
Logo Design: I used text-to-image generation to explore a few concepts.
Product Visualization: I generated photorealistic cup mockups within the board to test how the logo concepts sat on physical objects.
3. High-Fidelity Video & Upscaling
A modern brand requires motion. I generated cinematic mood clips using the Runway Video model in Firefly Board. To ensure these assets were broadcast-ready, I utilized the Topaz Astra Upscaling integration. This transformed standard AI video generations into 4K, texture-rich assets, restoring fine details like micro-bubbles and lighting gradients that are usually lost in lower-resolution outputs.
The Outcome
The result was a comprehensive brand style guide and a library of 4K video assets created in a fraction of the standard production time. This project highlights the shift in creative direction, where the focus moves from technical execution to curation and strategic vision.
