ForHims Project Overview

Client: ForHims – A telehealth and e-commerce platform specializing in men's wellness products and services.

Objective: Develop and enhance a responsive e-commerce platform with telehealth functionalities to improve user engagement, streamline consultations, and boost online sales.

My Role

Position: Senior Frontend Developer

Responsibilities:

Designed and implemented responsive, mobile-friendly interfaces for the ForHims website using React.js and TailwindCSS.

Integrated secure prescription management and streamlined telehealth appointment scheduling.

Built reusable and dynamic components to display product catalogs, customer reviews, and wellness blogs.

Developed personalized wellness recommendation features to improve customer engagement using tailored product suggestions.

Collaborated closely with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs for product search, user authentication, and payment systems.

Focused on optimizing UI performance to reduce load times and improve SEO rankings.

Solution: Worked with the backend team to integrate recommendation algorithms and dynamically display relevant products on the homepage.

Challenge 3: Improving website loading times.

Solution: Used code-splitting, lazy loading for images, and minimized third-party script usage to reduce loading times.
