Minimalist Logo Animation

A motion piece that captures creativity, clarity, and transformation through minimalist animation. The concept begins with four dots that gradually align to form the word “ANIK,” symbolizing the evolution of ideas from small sparks into a complete creative identity.

The animation is designed to be clean, fluid, and meaningful, blending design precision with emotional simplicity. It was built entirely in Adobe After Effects and optimized for Lottie, making it lightweight and adaptable for web, mobile, and app integration.

The goal was to craft a modern and versatile logo animation that represents my brand’s personality — smart, minimal, and timeless. I wanted to demonstrate how thoughtful motion design can translate into functional web experiences, ensuring smooth playback and scalability through Lottie JSON export.

The main challenge was maintaining high visual quality and motion smoothness while keeping the animation lightweight for web use. Since the piece transitions from abstract dots to typography, every curve, easing, and transition needed to feel deliberate, consistent, and visually balanced.

Each step involved:

Optimized layers and vector paths for smooth Lottie rendering

Maintaining design integrity across both video and JSON formats

A structured motion workflow ensured efficiency and quality:

1. Concept & Design Developed a symbolic idea — four dots representing the building blocks of creativity, transforming into a complete identity.

2. After Effects Animation Animated using custom motion curves, minimal expressions, and precise easing to achieve a balanced visual rhythm.

3. Lottie Optimization Prepared vector layers and shapes for Bodymovin export, ensuring clean playback in LottieFiles without any loss of motion fidelity.

4. Final Output Delivered both video and Lottie versions, ensuring versatility for web embeds, portfolio use, and brand presentations.

The final logo animation delivers a sleek, polished, and highly optimized motion identity that performs flawlessly across platforms. It captures the essence of simplicity and transformation while demonstrating strong technical mastery of After Effects and Lottie workflows.
