The Background
Fab Happy Journey is a travel company offering curated tour packages across a wide range of categories — Solo Trips, Group Trips, Family Trips, Honeymoon Trips, Bike Trips, and Customized Journeys. Their destinations span the length of India, from Ladakh and Kashmir to Kerala, Goa, and Rajasthan, extending internationally to Almaty, Dubai, Sri Lanka, and beyond.
Behind the business is Jai Nair, a travel professional with over 15 years of experience and a genuine passion for building memorable journeys. By the time they engaged Missing Piece Studio, Fab Happy Journey wasn’t a new name in the space. They had over 10,000 journeys planned, more than 1,000 verified reviews, a 4.8★ average rating, and a growing reputation built almost entirely on word of mouth and repeat customers.
The problem wasn’t the product. The trips were exceptional, the service was personal, and the trust was earned. But the website couldn’t tell any of that story — and in a category where travellers research extensively before committing, a website that can’t communicate quality, variety, and confidence costs real bookings.
The Challenge
A great product was being undersold by a website that wasn't working.
Fab Happy Journey had accumulated years of experiences, packages, destinations, and client stories. The old website couldn’t hold it. Every limitation compounded into a single outcome: potential travellers came, couldn’t find what they needed, and left.
Cluttered Experience, No Clear Journey: The existing website had no coherent flow. Visitors couldn’t navigate intuitively to the type of trip they were looking for, and the information architecture offered no logical path from discovery to enquiry.
Incomplete Representation of the Product: Fab Happy Journey offers six trip categories and dozens of destinations across India and abroad. The old website barely scratched the surface of what was actually available.
Low Credibility Signals: Despite strong real-world trust, thousands of trips completed, hundreds of reviews, years of experience, none of it was visible in a way that would reassure a first-time visitor.
A Difficult-to-Manage Backend: As the business grew, so did the volume of itineraries, packages, and destinations. Uploading and managing new tour packages was a bottleneck. The team had no scalable way to keep the site current without constant developer involvement.
An Underwhelming Developer Experience: Previous attempts at improving the website had resulted in frustration. The process was unclear, delivery was unreliable, and the outcomes didn’t reflect the brief.
The business impact was direct Leads were being lost at the browsing stage, the booking pipeline was stalling, and the website was actively undermining credibility in a category where the first impression determines whether someone picks up the phone.
The Solution
Missing Piece Studio approached the Fab Happy Journey redesign as a strategic problem before a design one. Before a single wireframe, we ran a structured discovery process mapping the goals of the business against the needs of the traveller, and identifying precisely where the old website was losing people and why.

We built formal strategy documents that translated each user and business problem into concrete content and functionality requirements. For example: the user problem of difficulty finding personalized travel experiences was mapped directly into category-wise trip grouping, activity-based filtering, and a browseable destination architecture.
Content Architecture Built Around How Travellers Actually Browse
Trips are discoverable by category (Solo, Group, Family, Honeymoon, Bike, Customised) and by activity preference (Adventure, Luxury, Hiking, Cultural, Relaxation). Destinations are browseable by region (India and Abroad) with each major location given its own visual identity. The result is a site where a visitor with any type of travel intent can find their path within seconds.
Credibility Architecture That Earns Trust on Arrival
Jai’s 15+ years of experience and personal passion for travel are given their own space. The headline numbers — 10,000+ Journeys Planned, 1,000+ Verified Reviews, 4.8★ Average Rating, 24 Hrs Quick Quotations — appear where they matter most: near points of decision. Live testimonial feeds bring real traveller voices into the experience rather than handpicked static quotes.
Persona-Led Trip Discovery
Different types of travellers have entirely different questions. The site now serves each of these visitor types directly — through category entry points, activity-based filtering, and destination pages designed to speak to the specific interests of each group.
Booking Flow Designed to Convert
Every page ends with a clear, low-friction next step. The enquiry flow is streamlined, the WhatsApp contact path is prominent, and the quote request process removes the uncertainty that causes potential customers to abandon.
A CMS That Scales With the Business
The entire trip and destination catalogue is built on a structured Webflow CMS. Jai’s team can now add new packages, update itineraries, publish upcoming trips, and manage the full destination library without developer involvement.
Visual Design That Does Justice to the Experience
Travel is inherently visual, and the redesign treats it as such. Customer photography and destination imagery are added throughout the site. The visual design communicates warmth, adventure, and professionalism simultaneously, giving the website the kind of presence that matches the quality of experience Fab Happy Journey actually delivers.
The Results
The old website was clunky and basic. The new one showcases everything about the company in one place and seamlessly drives trip bookings.
The site is in its early post-launch phase and conversion data is building. The qualitative transformation is immediate and visible.
