Client project in healthcare. The client's name is withheld under NDA. My role: full-stack product engineer.
The problem
A care provider was running patient intake, triage, scheduling and follow-up across separate tools. Every hand-off was manual, and in healthcare every step also has to leave a record that stands up to a compliance review.
What I built
One platform that takes a patient from first contact to billing:
Telehealth intake with ID and insurance verification before the visit is booked.
Rule-based triage that routes each case from symptoms to the right department.
A clinician scheduler that matches availability with a room or a telemedicine slot.
Visits by video or in the clinic, on the same patient record.
Automated follow-through: e-prescriptions, lab orders and billing generated from the visit.
A HIPAA-aligned audit log on every step, with compliance exports.
The decision that mattered
Rule-based triage over ML. Routing patients is a decision someone has to be able to explain. Rules can be read, reviewed and changed by the clinical team, and every routing decision lands in the audit log with the rule that made it.
Stack: Next.js, tRPC, PostgreSQL, Prisma, AWS. Code is private under NDA; architecture walkthrough on request.
Healthcare platform: telehealth intake, rule-based triage, scheduling, e-prescriptions, labs and billing, with a HIPAA-aligned audit log on every step.
