Pusula – The Social Compass for University Communities

Pusula is a mobile application designed to enhance campus navigation and foster community engagement at Cyprus International University (CIU). Recognizing the challenges students face in navigating the expansive campus and connecting with peers, Pusula offers intuitive solutions grounded in user research and empathetic design.

Students at CIU often spend considerable time locating classrooms, facilities, and resources, leading to frustration and inefficiency. Additionally, newcomers struggle to integrate into the campus community, missing opportunities for collaboration and support.

Pusula addresses these challenges through:

Interactive Campus Map (Offline-Ready): Navigate CIU's campus seamlessly, even without internet access.

Comprehensive Search Functionality: Quickly locate classrooms, offices, and hidden gems like the campus museum.

Personal Peer Guides: Connect with experienced students in your department for guidance and support.

Pin & Share Discoveries: Highlight and share favorite study spots or resources with peers.

Visual Building Previews: Familiarize yourself with building exteriors before arrival.

Community Engagement: Join forums, discover clubs, and connect based on shared interests or academic paths.
