Built AI Business Card Scanner

As a Software Engineer at TOCCA, I developed a feature for our app: a business card scanner. The scanner employed vision AI to extract text from scanned images and used NLP to identify key details such as name, address, phone number, and company name

The challenge was to effectively capture and categorize information from a scanned business card and integrate it into the company's database and CRM platforms like Salesforce.

Leveraging my skills in Node.js, Google Cloud, and TypeScript, I was able to build and implement this advanced feature. The solution was designed to not only store contact information but to also trigger custom events like scheduling a sales pitch meeting via email.

The impact of my contribution was significant, enhancing our app usability and customer convenience. As a result, users could seamlessly integrate scanned contacts into their CRM platforms, thereby improving efficiency and productivity.
