Astrotwig is a dynamic social music streaming app that blends audio discovery with rich community interaction from live listening parties and vertical content feeds to artist tip-based monetization and virtual ‘Astropod’ moments.
What I did:
Built the mobile app from scratch, turning the vision into a performant, native experience.
Architected and implemented the music infrastructure, powering streaming, playlists, and offline access.
Developed Astro AI, an intelligent assistant that understands music context, recommends songs, and creates personalized playlists.
Tech Used
Flutter (Dart), Riverpod, Clean Architecture, just_audio & audio_service (background audio), HLS streaming, offline caching, WebSockets (realtime), REST/GraphQL APIs, Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage) / Cloud Functions, CI/CD.
