Commercial Storefront Design

I was commissioned to develop the design for a commercial storefront.
I started by vectorizing all the logos, as the original files were provided to me in PNG format. This process allowed me to recreate the elements as vector graphics, ensuring that their definition, proportions, and details remained consistent regardless of scale.
This step was particularly important for applying the logos to the storefront, as the project would be produced in a large format. By working with vector files, I was able to ensure a sharp and professional final print without any loss of quality or pixelation.

Next, I defined the exact dimensions of each glass panel in the file, ensuring that the design matched the storefront’s measurements precisely. I also added 5 mm of bleed to each area to provide a safety margin during the printing and installation process.

UPPER WINDOWS:
Although these images were not produced by me, their selection was an integral part of the project development process. Extensive research was carried out to find imagery that would effectively convey the storytelling I envisioned for the storefront.
I chose to use images across the six upper windows because they are a prominent area of the storefront and allow the purpose and services of the business to be communicated immediately and visually. The imagery was carefully selected to create a cohesive narrative across the different spaces and make the brand’s message easy to understand for people passing by the storefront.

These final three images correspond to the second business located within the same storefront. I maintained the same visual and structural approach throughout the project, while adapting the communication to the needs and identity of the second business, ensuring clear readability and a cohesive integration between both spaces.

Finally, I usually create a visual mockup of the proposal by using a real photograph of the storefront and overlaying the graphic elements according to the planned composition. This allows me to present the client with an accurate representation of the proposed final result and makes it easier to visualize how the design will look once applied to the space.

And this is how I developed the design for a storefront consisting of 16 glass panels, from file preparation and logo vectorization to image selection, visual composition, and the final application mockup.
