The Role of Social Psychology to Death Penalty

In this section, I started the paper as the death penalty is a contemporary issue in most countries and left a note that "is there really justice in penalizing the life of a convict?"

The body contains different related articles (mostly foreign) that will support this term paper. It consists of how the death penalty affects the convicts' and victims' families and relatives, the judge, and prison wardens. I also include how society and community play a major role in this kind of issue. This paper stated how we still believe that the death penalty can reduce crimes coming from the article written by Levitt (2007).

In conclusion, I believed social thinking in our community has a role. We can agree that most of the population will agree or somehow agree to the death penalty as according to most of them there is fair justice. But we can solve this by changing and breaking the stigma that there is no real justice in the death penalty. Capital punishment only puts convicts to death but not leaving a mark or even fear that they will do crimes again. Thus, the majority of the states often put injustices in this punishment by race, ethnicity, life status, politics, etc.,
