Docbuddy

Mukesh Solanki

During my time at KeepWorks. I worked on a project called Docbuddy. It was a medical record keeping app that allowed users to take pictures of their medical documents and store them in the cloud. It was a very interesting project and I learned a lot about the medical industry. I also learned a lot about the challenges of building a product in a highly regulated industry. I worked on the Android app and the backend. It’s here at KeepWorks that I learned about the importance of writing clean code and writing tests. I also learned about the importance of writing documentation and how it can help other developers understand the codebase better.

Responsibilities:

Developing the app
Convert the design to code
Writing the backend APIs for the app
Writing the tests
Writing the documentation

Technologies used:

MVP - For clean architecture and separation of concerns
Kotlin & Java - For development
RxJava - For asynchronous programming
Retrofit - For networking
Dagger - For dependency injection
Sqlite- For local database
Git - For version control
Firebase - For push notifications
Crashlytics - For crash reporting
Fabric - For beta distribution
