High-Converting IELTS Funnel & Website Redesign (Framer)

Project Overview This project focused on transforming an outdated IELTS coaching website into a high-converting, strategically structured funnel. The business offers premium 1:1 VIP IELTS coaching alongside digital preparation materials. However, the existing website failed to guide users toward the core offer, resulting in lost conversion opportunities. The goal was to redesign the experience from the ground up. Aligning user flow, messaging, and visual hierarchy to drive conversions, capture leads, and elevate brand perception.

Funnel & Conversion Improvements

+22% increase in email opt-in rate
Achieved through strategic placement of lead capture points, improved value framing, and reduced early-stage friction.
+15% increase in VIP course sign-up conversion
Driven by restructuring the funnel to prioritize the main offer, strengthening CTA hierarchy, and reinforcing trust signals at key decision points.
Reduced drop-off in early user journey
By removing competing actions (like premature free course links) and guiding users through a more intentional flow.
before and after
before and after
Phase 1: Audit and Strategy The project started with a full audit of the existing website, focusing on user behavior, structure, and conversion gaps. Key issues identified:
No clear path to the main VIP offer
Competing CTAs causing distraction and drop-off
Weak visual hierarchy and lack of focus
Underutilized trust signals
Poor content structure affecting readability and engagement
From this, a new funnel strategy was defined:
Prioritize the VIP offer as the primary conversion goal
Introduce intentional friction reduction through clearer navigation
Strategically position email capture and opt-ins
Reinforce trust through social proof and measurable outcomes
Phase 2: Design and Funnel Optimization The website was completely restructured to guide users toward a single, clear outcome: conversion. Key improvements included:
Repositioning the VIP offer as the dominant visual and strategic element
Introducing strong trust signals (e.g. successful student outcomes, stats)
Redesigning sections into scannable, digestible layouts
Controlling user flow by removing early-stage distractions (like premature free offers)
Reintroducing secondary offers later in the funnel to maintain accessibility without hurting conversions
Enhancing CTA visibility through contrast, size, and placement
Every design decision was tied to user psychology, reducing decision fatigue, increasing trust, and guiding attention intentionally.
Phase 3: Development and Implementation
The final design was developed in Framer, ensuring a fast, responsive, and modern experience across all devices. The new build focused on:
Clean, scalable layout structure
Smooth navigation and interactions
Performance optimization
Pixel-accurate implementation of the design system
The visual direction stayed aligned with the brand, but was elevated to feel more premium, credible, and conversion-focused.
Phase 4: Technical & System Setup
Beyond design, the project included structuring the backend experience to support scalability and conversions:
Optimized checkout flow
Simplified and aligned with user expectations to reduce hesitation and abandonment
Email capture system
Integrated opt-in points across the funnel to consistently collect qualified leads
Lead segmentation logic (entry-level)
Allowing different user intents (free vs high-ticket) to be captured and nurtured separately
Framer implementation
Built with performance, responsiveness, and scalability in mind
Phase 5: Final Testing and QA
Before launch, the website underwent a full QA process to ensure:
Responsive behavior across devices
Functional accuracy of all CTAs and flows
Consistency in spacing, typography, and components
Smooth user journey from entry to conversion
Any friction points were identified and resolved to ensure a seamless final experience.
Project Outcome
The final result is a conversion-focused ecosystem, not just a redesigned website, but a fully optimized funnel designed to turn traffic into qualified leads and paying students.
