There is a blue brewing inside of me

A storm that rages deep and free

A tempest born of joy and pain

That threatens to leave its lasting stain.

It whispers secrets in my ear

Of dreams and hopes that once were dear

Of memories that haunt my soul

And wounds that never seem to heal.

The blue inside me ebbs and flows

A tide that comes, a tide that goes

And in its wake, it leaves behind

A sense of peace, a quiet mind.

So let it rage, this storm within

And all the fears that come with it

For in its wake, I'm left to see

The light that shines inside of me.

There is a blue brewing inside of me,

A storm of emotions that no one can see.

A churning sea of uncertainty,

That threatens to engulf my serenity.

The waters rise and fall with the tide,

As I struggle to keep my fears aside.

I long for calm, for a peaceful ride,

But my heart and mind, they just collide.

The blue inside me is both light and dark,

A mix of hope and pain, a sudden spark.

A promise of change that leaves a mark,

And fills me with wonder, as well as stark.

So, I embrace this brewing blue inside,

I hold on to hope, to faith, to abide.

For even though the storm may seem wide,

I know that within me, I can confide.
