Project Overview

Scania wanted to turn their booth for a national event into an experience visitors remember - and one that gets them to leave their details.
The concept: a guest sits in front of a screen and builds a product step by step. They move through choice-based zones, earn points and stats, and at the end receive a personalized certificate with their result - emailed instantly. Gamification holds attention, while you capture a quality lead and a branded experience instead of handing out another flyer.

Scope of work

Designed and built a multi-step gamified configurator covering six decision stages - truck unit, trailer, tyres, fuel card, insurance, and financing - each scored on dual Efficiency / Emissions point systems.
Created a real-time dual-metric scoring engine that updates running totals as players make choices, with animated progress bars for each metric.
Built branded "mission zone" screens for partner products (Continental, Shell, ОЗК Insurance Company, Scania Finance) with accept/decline offer logic that feeds the score.
Developed a live national leaderboard ranking players by city (Vratsa, Burgas, Plovdiv, Varna), updating in real time across event locations.
Implemented a mission-complete flow with personalised score summary, emailed certificate, and a QR code for instant social sharing.
Built it as a full-screen event kiosk with an auto-reset idle timer, plus mobile-web access so visitors can play from their laptop.
* All 3D Visuals were done by the great team at Full Stack

Runs full-screen as an event kiosk or online as a web app - same engine, two deployment modes. The live leaderboard ranks players by city in real time, with partner logos front and center for sponsor visibility.

A full product catalog the player browses and chooses from - each option carries its own image, specs, and dual scoring. Add, remove, or re-price any item from the admin panel without touching code.

Every product opens into a detailed spec view with an image carousel and complete parameters - so players make an informed choice, exactly like a real configurator. The point of sale and the point of play become the same moment.

Branded sponsor zones let partners (Shell, Continental, and others) present their own offers inside the game. Each choice feeds the player's score and gives partners measurable, interactive exposure - a built-in monetization layer.

A complete admin panel runs the whole activation - products, scoring zones, players, cities, and email/SMS notifications, all editable in real time. This is what makes the engine reusable: re-skin it for any brand or product line in days, not months.

Application by Industries

Originally built for Scania (players assemble a truck and "drive" a million kilometers), but the logic is universal and can be reskinned for any niche:
Furniture & interiors - the customer builds a room or set, sees price and specs
Trade shows & expos - an interactive booth that collects contacts and draws the crowd
Automotive & machinery - a model configurator with a final "passport" of choices
Real estate - pick a layout, floor, and extras package
Fitness, travel, education - any "journey" with a goal and a result at the finish
What you get:
A branded game fully tailored to your visual identity
Lead and customer-data capture straight into a system
A personalized certificate/result by email or SMS
An admin panel with full control over content, rewards, and statistics
Runs offline on a kiosk, tablet, large touch screen or even on your website
Perfect for road show tours, trade booths, product launches, and retail spaces that want to stand out.

Looking for a similar product build for you?

I build gamified, interactive experiences for machinery and high-ticket brands - touch-screen configurators that turn booth visitors into qualified leads, draw a crowd, and give your team real data to follow up on. Branded to your identity, ready for your next event.
