Served as the communications backbone for one of the region's established music retailers, owning the full lifecycle of written content from drafting through distribution.
What I Did
Content Production at Scale
Drafted, edited, and coordinated 15+ weekly and monthly communication assets that reached a targeted audience of 5,000+ educators, performers, and families. Every piece had to land differently depending on the reader: a band director needs specs, a parent needs reassurance, a performer needs inspiration. I tuned the tone and detail level for each.
Digital Asset Library Management
Built and maintained an organized digital asset library containing 1,000+ photos, videos, and written materials. Cross-departmental teams could actually find what they needed without pinging me, which cut content retrieval time significantly for internal stakeholders.
Brand Consistency Across Channels
Collaborated with cross-functional teams to maintain 100% accuracy and brand consistency across all internal and public-facing messaging. Nothing went out the door without matching the voice.
The Approach
I don't wait for communication needs to surface. I anticipate them. At Brook Mays, that meant proactively adjusting messaging tone, flagging gaps before they became problems, and keeping every stakeholder aligned without bottlenecks.
