Grotesque Character Studies
These grotesque character studies are a series of personal illustrations that focuses on using a stylized style to develop unique character concepts. Each illustration takes inspiration from a different prompt, which is either transformed into an isolated character or a whole scene.
The concept behind this character is that of the slot machine. The monster’s many arms have the function of luring the victim into gambling while withholding the prize from them.
This character concept is an entry to the Character Design Challenge of May 2024, Barbarian Conqueror.
