The Narrative Core:

"Generation Solo," explores a near-future society where social interaction has been engineered to favor a specific genetic "elite". Dating apps and social narratives have created a "hypergamic" environment where 90% of men are effectively invisible to women. To solve the resulting population collapse, the "people at the top" have implemented Artificial Wombs—robotic surrogates that gestate and "birth" children in labs.
