Morning Brew
DISCIPLINE: 3D MODELLING
SUBJECT: STYLIZED 3D STUDY
TOOLS: BLENDER · PREMIERE PRO
A quiet study of the first coffee of the day.
Morning Brew started with a simple idea: take a familiar morning ritual and see how much feeling could be built into a 3D scene.
The focus was less on making a technically impressive render and more on making the moment feel believable. The warmth of the cup, the softness of the light, the steam, the coffee itself, and the small details that make the scene feel lived in.
The result is a stylised still life built entirely in Blender, somewhere between product visualisation and visual storytelling.
THE FEELING
It starts with something familiar.
There is something very specific about making coffee in the morning. The quiet, the first light, the warmth of the cup in your hands.

I wanted the scene to hold onto that feeling without making it overly sentimental.

The colour palette brings together deep red, teal, beige and charcoal, giving the scene warmth while keeping it contemporary.
THE FORM
Start with the object, then build the world around it.
Before introducing the final stylisation, I focused on getting the proportions and shape of the mug right.
The clay and wireframe work gave the scene a clean foundation. From there, lighting, colour and atmosphere could push the image further without losing the physical quality of the object.
THE FILM
A few seconds can say enough.
The final piece keeps the movement simple and lets the atmosphere carry the story.

Coffee, steam, light and small changes in the scene build a familiar morning without needing to explain it.

It is a small study, but it explores something I find useful in product visualisation: the product does not always have to be presented in isolation. Sometimes the feeling around it is what makes the image work.
A familiar moment, seen a little differently.
Morning Brew was a personal exploration of how 3D can capture atmosphere as well as form.
The subject is simple. The challenge was making the simplicity feel real.
Like what you see? Thinking about working together?

The question driving this project: can a 3D render feel warm enough to work as actual product marketing, not just a technical exercise? The entire focus was on materials and light, ceramic texture, steam behavior, liquid surface, the way soft morning light wraps around a mug. Rendered in Blender Cycles. The goal was stylized realism: tactile enough to feel real, crafted enough to feel considered.
