Shot and edited a promotional reel for drum lessons. Automated captions are great, considerably fast and convenient, but sometimes custom captions give a whole new vibe. Instead of automated captions I built each line manually, matching the typography to the tone of what he was saying. When the word that mattered most came up, it got its own treatment entirely. Small decision. Noticeable difference. Do you go automated or custom?
