Kulturarenaplan 2019–2030

The cultural arena plan is about the needs  and wishes for the arts and cultural life for cultural buildings now and in the future. The main goal of the plan is that the art and culture in Bergen should have sufficient cultural infrastructure – for a broad art and culture life in Bergen. The cultural arena plan consists of 3 axes: the cultural historic axis, the art axis and the cultural axis. We have taken the map of Bergen city center as our starting point. We marked all the places on the three axes. Based on that we created three unique patterns.  These form the basis for the visual expression of the catalogue.

The pattern gives a playful expression with endless combination possibilities. It can also be associated with plans, development, movement and structure. The colours throughout the catalogue have been selected from colours we find in Bergen, and reflects Bergen as the colourful city it is.
