I was approached by Delish in 2021, who wanted me to support them in the creation of 6 recipe videos per month, to add to their ever-growing content schedule. They wanted a top-down filming style, combined with 'beauty' shots and the addition of text graphics to explain the steps on screen.

At the time, this was my first opportunity I had to put my cooking skills to the test, but I was keen to learn and master the art of the cooking video. I bought new filming equipment in order to film the top-down style and had to learn how to properly light the scene, so as to make the food look as good as possible. After working with Delish, I produced exactly what the company wanted and got to work, adhering to the schedule. In total I have created 60 recipe videos, filmed and cooked by myself for the company. Let's just say I may have put on a few pounds after this one...

Good Housekeeping came to me for help in supporting their editing and delivery of recipe videos for their website and social media platforms. The GH Team required a partner who was sufficient in quick turnaround times, text overlays, colour grading footage and utilising cloud-based storage solutions to sync 4K footage into the editing software.

Over the course of a year, I created four videos a month - creating a whopping 48 recipe videos in total for the client. The GH Team appreciated this consistency. I received the footage from the cooks at the Good Housekeeping Institute and immediately got started on editing the footage to create the delicious visuals and content you see. Following recipes curated by the cooks, I added text overlays for a step-by-step visual into how to create each recipe with the visuals adding to the tutorial. I have highlighted my favourite three videos on this page (as showing all 48 would have been a bit overkill).
