This is the process by which plastics are heated in the absence of oxygen

Plastics are converted into bio oil which can later be refined into petrol and diesel and used

Fast pyrolysis happens in the presence of a catalyst while slow pyrolysis no catalyst

Pyrolysis is expensive and time consuming

It can be done to reduce the amount of plastic pollution in the environment
