About: Previously, I worked full-time with a local Television Network as Chief Editor and Director's Assistant. In sum, I was present on all shoots (often behind a camera), assisted on set, and edited together programs from collected RAW/LOG footage amongst other professionals.

Tasks also included creating and editing together the broadcasting schedule (i.e. planning which programs ran when, and then made it happen). The episodes I edited for the local network averaged 25-30min.

Why I Left: There were changes internally regarding the company's direction that prompted my departure. It was a difficult decision since I had was passionate about their purpose and had gained great experience, but ultimately, it was not the right long-term fit for me. Additionally, I found myself in a position with a constantly increasing workload, and I'm seeking a role that supports a more sustainable work-life balance.
