Paying Tribute to a Design Legend / And Leveling Up My Craft. Recently, I dove deep into the world of Vladimir Kagan, a master of organic forms and timeless design. His approach to furniture has sparked something powerful in my own creative journey. This latest piece is both a tribute and a turning point. Not only did I push my lighting and rendering skills further than before, but I also found a deeper connection between storytelling and design. Using Cinema 4D, I built this scene as an homage, but also as a milestone — a moment of growth I’ll carry forward. As Kagan once joked: “I’m supposed to be a minimalist – I’m a maximalist. So I say, ‘Do as I say, not as I do.” That spirit of playful contradiction reminds me that great design doesn't always follow the rules, and maybe that's where the magic happens. If you're curious to see more, I shared the full render and behind-the-scenes process on my Instagram and BMAC. Let me know what you think — and thank you for being part of the journey. . . .
