Bed Bath and Beyond

I helped convert Bed Bath and Beyond website from a PHP hybrid framework into a React app. This monolithic project took careful planning and architecture, deep technical knowledge of the front and backend system of the website, CMS integration, A/B testing services and later adapted to React hooks and context management as React evolved. I was also in charge of chunking and webpack optimization as well as a number of other performance and speed optimization related streams of work. From containerization, automation, UI and component creation, data management, database and API conversations and style guides. I, and my small team, created something really spectacular and well functioning. The site is still live today at https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com so go take a look :) Unfortunately as some may know, the company has gone under unrelated to the site performance.
