Inspiring Illustrator Poster Design

I was inspired by all the current flat graphic design trend and I wanted to use AI to assist in the design process. I decided to make a motivational exercise poster that I could hang up near my treadmill.

I searched for a simple photo of a woman running. Using my drawing pad, I traced the figure of the woman in Illustrator, filling in color for her clothes, hair, and shoes. I picked a color palette that had color variations related to nature – brown and green. Tracing the photo takes time and only gives me one graphic for one exercise. I used generative AI in Illustrator to create graphics to represent other exercises. Even though AI created the other graphics I needed, I did have to clean up the results using my expert Illustrator skills and creative thinking.
