Different brands on the one Shopify Store

Melrose came to me with designs for three new product ranges that were to be branded differently to the company's core brand but hosted on the same store website. As part of this new design, the header and footer (which are typically the same for every page on a Shopify store) needed to be updated and unique to each of the new brands.

Rules for what dictates a page for each brand were added to the code of the Shopify theme and when a page was identified as a page of a particular sub-brand, the header and footer was set to swap the branding to that of the identified product range. From the admin side, the landing pages for each brand were included as new 'pages' in Shopify and products for each brand just needed to be tagged as such.
