At Durolabs, I worked as a Software Engineer in a remote capacity, where I contributed extensively to both frontend and backend development. On the frontend, I utilized React, Redux, and SCSS to implement and enhance various features, improving user experience and functionality. My role also involved maintaining a clean, scalable codebase by following best practices, as well as performing regular code reviews to ensure the highest quality standards.
On the backend, I optimized REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js to better support frontend requirements. I played a crucial role in establishing a Cypress testing framework to ensure seamless integration between the frontend and backend, increasing the overall reliability of the application. Additionally, I worked with MongoDB to and performed database optimizations to further enhance performance.
As a part of the CI/CD pipeline, I contributed to maintaining code quality through automated processes using GCP, CircleCI, and GitHub Actions. I also actively mentored new hires, helping them integrate into the team and become productive in our Agile environment. Throughout my time at Durolabs, I collaborated with cross-functional teams and used JIRA to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth project execution.
