Mobile App for Journaling

This project removes the barriers to journaling. When life gets busy, writing can feel hard: so we made it easy to capture your thoughts, feelings, and reflections anytime inspiration strikes.
Firstly let’s understand the disadvantages of the different ways of keeping a diary I started Internet research to collect as much info as possible about journaling to understand the process and identify pain points.

Survey Research data

I did an online survey using Google Forms to observe any pattern and similarity in what the potential users may want. A total of 34 people responded which assisted me in frame the problem correctly.

Onboarding flow

Record voice note

Sometimes, capturing one's thoughts in audio format proves easier and faster, eliminating distractions caused by previewing own face.

Text notes

Text notes let users naturally capture their thoughts in a digital diary or scan handwritten notes to automatically upload them into the app.

Review your thoughts

As a result of adding thoughts to the app user gets the card with the information to quickly analyze information without reviewing content.

Dashboard

Quickly review your journal, track mood trends, and spot common topics.
