Real 3d Smartphone Mockup for After Effects 2025

This is the smartphone mockup that uses a new feature of After Effects 2025 and higher. It has the real 3d model directly on timeline. This feature does not require any pre-renders and it opens a lot of creative tools for motion design.

I created a set of custom position and orientation controls for 3d model along with some of color controls that are simple and easy to use for every template user. Also it includes callouts with 3 selectable positions, text placeholders. The lighting for model provided with custom HDRi map. Another option of template is the set of 7 simple motion presets. These motion presets can be applied for any position of smartphone. Overall user gets 7 independent scenes to show it's own media: app UI, screencasts and screenshots, videos, images. My template is already available at MotionArray.

Smartphone 3d model is also created by me in Blender. This is a generic design phone in modern style with camera island, thin bevels and metallic material. It was exported in GLTF format that's already supported in After Effects.
