Here's our journey.

Problem

Fans want to do more than just stream music, but traditional payment systems were holding them back. Issues like high transaction fees, delayed payments to artists, and lack of transparency in revenue distribution kept popping up. Meanwhile, cryptocurrency adoption was growing, and blockchain technology offered solutions to these exact problems. We saw an opportunity to revolutionize how fans support artists.

Solution

We built our platform on the blockchain, creating a decentralized music ecosystem that puts artists and fans first. Here's what makes it special: The app uses smart contracts to handle gifts automatically. When you're vibing to your favorite track, one tap on the gift icon lets you send crypto directly to the artist's wallet. We integrated multiple cryptocurrencies to give users choice, while keeping gas fees minimal through Layer-2 scaling solutions.

Research objectives

Fans can see exactly how much of their gift goes to the artist (spoiler: it's over 90%, way more than traditional streaming). Smart contracts handle everything instantly, so artists get their funds right away, not months later. The interface is clean and intuitive, hiding all the complex blockchain stuff under the hood. Whether you're crypto-savvy or just getting started, gifting feels natural.
