The Professor is a Nigerian Musician in his fifties, who makes conscious music, in a fine blend of live instruments with electronic sounds.

Job Description

After a discussion with him, I realized that it is important to him to come across as African and artistic. Lagbaja is a song about living your best life regardless of what people or on-lookers say about you. This is the essence of what the Artwork needed to say. This was the final product:

Rationale

We agreed on this because:

- The eyes all over the design speak of prying eyes. - The man playing the drum is obviously having a good time despite on-lookers. (This captures the essence of the song.) -  The man’s attire, as well as the type of drum he’s playing, speaks of Africa. (This sends that African and artistic message, which is so important for the artiste's brand.) - The artwork is colorful, interesting and aesthetically pleasing.
