Animation for Vergil 22's 'Falling Again'

My first ever animation project for the promotion of Vergil 22's single Falling Again. Vergil 22 is an incredibly talented and introspective afrobeats & hip hop artist, and as such, I wanted the animation to reflect the introspective and never-ending cyclical themes brought up in the lyrics. I was heavily inspired by nostalgic cartoons and traditional animation techniques and styles to further highlight the themes of regression or return back to a primary state.

It was laborious but ultimately very rewarding, enjoy!
