When I was just starting out, I worked as a contractor for various agencies (Havas, LBi, Arena, etc.). It was a great way to quickly build a portfolio of major brands I got to work with, including Coca-Cola, Domino’s, HP, and Nurofen.
I very intentionally moved from one agency to another to maximize my exposure to different projects and clients, and to build as many friendships in the industry as possible. That experience ultimately allowed me to start my own agency – and it’s the same idea behind Contra: giving you the freedom to choose the best companies and projects to work on.
