A personal portfolio designed and built for Isaure Lohest, freelance UX/UI designer and full-stack developer, to present her work as one coherent, end-to-end practice.
The project brings together case studies, services and process in an editorial-inspired interface, with a clear typographic hierarchy, generous whitespace and a calm visual rhythm. Each case study is structured to tell the story behind the work, from research and design decisions to final delivery, so that clients understand not only what was made, but how and why.
Beyond the visual direction, the site was built as a design-to-code showcase: every detail, from subtle GSAP animations and smooth scrolling to responsive behaviour and optimised media, was crafted and implemented by the designer herself. The architecture makes it simple to add new projects, pages and content over time without compromising consistency.
The portfolio is built with Astro, Vue.js, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, with a focus on performance, accessibility and SEO, and is self-hosted on a dedicated VPS with a lightweight Node.js service handling the contact form.
