Brainlane is an innovative Dutch platform empowering professionals to future-proof their careers in IT by offering personalized learning paths and skill assessments for upskilling and career switches. My involvement spanned both design and full web development, crafting a seamless experience that actively guides users from uncertainty to actionable steps.

The design focuses on clarity, motivation, and intelligent navigation. The homepage immediately addresses the user’s need to find the right IT reskilling program, with bold calls to action, easy test initiation, and clear explanations of the service workflow. I leveraged modern UI patterns for self-assessment quizzes, tailored program recommendations, and an engaging knowledge base filled with articles for both professionals and trainers.

Throughout the project, the key value was streamlining complexity: users enter core details, take a standards-based skills test, and get custom learning pathways with direct program recommendations—transforming the confusing Dutch IT upskilling market into a simple, guided journey. This platform also highlights microcredential options and instant skill-matching, designed to boost employability and supporting career changers from all backgrounds.

Brainlane’s tech stack needed robust backend connectivity and scalable frontend development. Webflow was chosen for rapid prototyping, advanced interactions, and seamless relaunch capabilities for future growth. The result is a professional-grade upskilling platform that not only matches users to the optimal IT courses but also provides actionable career advice and market insights—all free of charge.
