I contributed to an advanced data analytics project for Humana, leveraging around 400 features, including custom-extracted ones, to train a gradient boosting model that predicted COVID vaccination status. This insight allowed the health insurance company to effectively target their marketing efforts towards individuals who were unvaccinated. Out of approximately 700 participants, our team achieved an impressive 16th place ranking.
