Character Design: Caleb (Lead)
Caleb is the quiet protector in an unreleased young adult story I’m illustrating. He is reserved, dry, and watchful, with a hardness he wears like armor.
Design notes: a rust hoodie, tousled brown hair, green eyes, and broad shoulders that curve slightly inward. Scraped knuckles hint at his history without explaining it. Soft digital painting style with a rust orange and charcoal palette.
Part of a three-character set. More to come.
